If you have to go to the dentist... is it wrong to enjoy it?
I have no idea where I developed such a nasty fear of the dentist during my childhood. I know they are nice people, but thinking about going to the dentist literally would make me sick growing up. Now, as an adult, I KNOW why the dentist's office makes me cringe... It is the source of bad news, uncontrollable costs, and pain. There is nothing like going to the dentist, having them poke around in your mouth for $150.00 bucks, elaborate on all the costly issues they found that you will not be able to afford, and leave depressed and in pain. #nothanks. After living abroad in Mexico, I began to realize healthcare, in general, was just different. I almost PASSED OUT, when I called my Mexican dentist to ask how much 2 fillings and a cleaning would be! I actually got the "Worst case scenario price", and the "best case scenario price." We know here in the states the first question is... What insurance do you have? We would like to take you ...
